Infrastructure:

College and hospital built up area is more than the requirement prescribed by the Ayush & C.C.H. It has fully equipped 12 U.G. departments and every department consists of HOD room, departmental library, museum, laboratories & demonstration rooms. The class rooms are equipped with LCD projector, sound system and spacious smart seating arrangement.The institute having its own AC seminar hall.

Course offering: BHMS

University is starting Degree Course in Homoeopathy, Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.). The course is full time and regular and recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy and Govt. of India

Intake Capacity: 100 Seats

Minimum qualification for admission to BHMS Course :

Inter mediate/Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year.

Admission Process: Through NEET Only.

Duration of course:

The total duration of the course is five and half years, including one year compulsory rotatory internship, as follows:-

  • First B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1 yr)
  • Second B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1 yr)
  • Third B.H.M.S 1 Academic year(1yr)
  • Final B.H.M.S 1 and 1/2 Academic years(1.5yr)
  • Rotatory internship, 1Year (12 months).

Teaching Medium:

Medium of instruction shall be in English, Gujarati and Hindi for learning purpose, but examination will be held in English only.

Completion of the course:

After passing the final B.H.M.S. examination, student shall undergo a period of compulsory one year rotating internship in the College Hospital. During internship he/she will be posted in hospital duty after getting temporary registration number with Gujarat Council of Homoeopathy, Ahmedabad. Permanent registration number will be provided only after the completion of internship in the college hospital.
